Lilacs

Lilacs are easy to maintain, beautiful, and have a wonderful smell. There are many varieties of lilacs to choose from. They are a great addition to your garden and can be clipped to use for flower arrangements inside your home.

Roses

Roses are a great addition to your garden because you can choose from a huge range of varieties all with different colours, shapes, and fragrances (some roses are fragrance free so make sure you know what you’re buying). Roses can also be used to make a bouquet to put inside your home.

Mock Orange

Mock oranges are a great option if you’re looking for something simple and low maintenance. The smell will absolutely fill up your yard, and you can also take clippings to put inside your house.

Jasmine

Jasmine plants have a very strong and distinct smell. If jasmine is a fragrance that you like, it is a beautiful and fairly low maintenance plant that can be added to your garden. Jasmine is also edible and is very popular as a tea.

Honeysuckle

Honeysuckles smell very sweet and can be nice to grow as a vine in your garden or on your patio. They are easy to maintain however should be pruned frequently as they can become invasive if not controlled properly.

Chocolate Cosmos

Chocolate cosmos have a subtle smell but do indeed smell like chocolate. The chocolate variety of cosmos are usually very dark red, almost brown.

Lavender

There are several varieties of lavender to choose from and they are very low maintenance. They have a very strong smell and can be used as a great natural deodorizer for your home. Lavender is also edible and is fantastic in baked goods and drinks.

Sweet Peas

Sweet peas can be many different colours, making them a lovely addition to any garden. They have a delicate flower with a lovely smell.
